Pendant bails include glue on bails with a face plate and a textured reverse that is glued to the pendant. Ice pick bails, pinch bails or prong bails with horizontal prongs pinched into a top drilled hole in the pendant or crystal. Loop bails with a loop attached to the necklace chain or cord and a second attached to the top drilled pendant. Stirrup bails follow this design but the second element is a pinch bail. Pin and hole bails have a pin which passes through the pendant hole and into a hole in the pendant bail where it is folded over securely. Snap on bails or spring bails clip onto a loop on the pendant and then over a necklace chain or cord. Triangle bails* are the simplest *_pendant bails_ with the two arms of an open wire triangle pushed into opposite sides of a drilled hole.
